Travoyer was founded in 2023 by a small team who spent years frustrated by the broken experience of staying connected abroad — overpriced roaming plans, lost SIM cards, and carrier lock-ins.

Before you buy

Is my phone eSIM compatible? +
Most smartphones released after 2018 support eSIM, including iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3+, Samsung Galaxy S20+, and many others. Check your Settings → About Phone → SIM status, or contact your carrier to confirm. Your phone must also be unlocked (not carrier-locked) to use a third-party eSIM.
Do I need to cancel my current plan to use a travel eSIM? +
No! A travel eSIM runs alongside your existing SIM. You can keep your home number active for calls and texts while using the travel eSIM for data. Most phones let you set which SIM handles calls, texts, and data independently.
What currency are plans priced in? +
All plans on Travoyer are priced exclusively in USD (United States Dollars). There are no currency conversion fees or hidden charges.
When does my plan start — when I buy it, or when I land? +
Your plan timer starts when you first connect to a network in your destination country — not when you purchase. You can buy your eSIM days in advance and install it before you travel without losing any of your plan.

Installation & setup

How do I install my eSIM? +
On iPhone: Go to Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code, then scan the QR code we emailed you. On Android: Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIM cards → Add eSIM, then scan the QR code. The whole process takes under 60 seconds.
Can I install the eSIM before I travel? +
Yes, and we recommend it! Install the eSIM at home on Wi-Fi before your trip. It will sit dormant until you arrive at your destination and connect to a local network. This means one less thing to worry about when you land.
I lost my QR code — what do I do? +
Your QR code is always available on your confirmation page and in the original email we sent you. If you can't find either, contact our support team 24/7 and we'll resend it immediately.

Plans & billing

What happens when I run out of data? +
When you reach your data limit, your connection will stop (we never silently charge you for overages). You can purchase a top-up or a new plan from our store at any time.
Can I get a refund? +
If you haven't installed or activated your eSIM, you can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Once an eSIM has been installed, we're unable to offer refunds as the plan has been provisioned. Contact support and we'll do our best to help.
Do plans auto-renew? +
No. All plans are one-time purchases and will never auto-renew. You will never be charged without your explicit consent.
